Why does sweeping your vinyl matter?
Dust and grit is your vinyls worst enemy. Sweep frequently because over time the dust and grit will start to take a toll on the vinyls protective or wear layer. When using floor mats make sure that you purchase them based for your vinyl. Some rubber-backed mats will leave a stain or mark where it is placed.
When sweeping is not pulling up all the dirt or grit then, mop your floor with clean warm water. Rinse and repeat until your vinyl is back to its original shine. If water does not do the trick, use the cleaning products that are recommended by the manufacturer or give Valvano Carpeting a call.
NEVER USE detergent or abrasive cleaner products. This might not only ruin you floor but will end most vinyl flooring warranties.
